#STUDIORED at Work – Hennessy Artistry Grand Finale
The Studio Red team was excited to attend and work at the Hennessy Artistry Grand Finale last Friday, November 14th 2014 at News Café. Our client was QWAY International, the exclusive agent, importer and distributor for the Moët-Hennessy brand portfolio in East Africa. They brought us on board to handle their media relations and we always love working with the QWAY Team!
The Hennessy Artistry Finale showcased purely home grown Tanzanian talent emphasizing Hennessy’s passion for blending music, culture, and the people of this beautiful country. Guests were hosted by Abby, treated to catchy DJ sets by #WEOUTCHEA and performances by local artists such as A.V.I.D, saxophone player Brian Mugenyi and exceptional drummer Baraka.
QWAY International together with Hennessy has already executed 5 events which happened every Friday, in 5 different venues across urban Dar es Salaam, showcasing 5 iconic cocktails in the run up to the grand finale. These events had been created to support the Global Hennessy Artistry campaign which is an annual famed global music campaign, designed with the sole aim of promoting the art of mixing various genres of tunes and blending the talents of the world’s top artistes for the world to appreciate and enjoy.
Cciza Williams, a lucky consumer from the Hennessy Fridays database won the raffle and will join the Artistry crew on an All Expenses Paid Trip to Nigeria, for the Hennessy Artistry AFRICA Grand Finale with international super stars Wizkid and 2Face. African mega stars Wizkid and 2Face have collaborated to produce the official song of the Hennessy Artistry 2014 campaign – DanceGo (Eau de Vie) – which was released at the launch of this years campaign.
As usual, QWAY International did not disappoint! The event was full of local celebrities, Hennessy lovers and great a great set up with amazing music. the Studio Red team is looking forward to the next QWAY International event.
